Privacy Policy
Last updated: April 18, 2026
Welcome to Pixelka. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your data when you use our mobile application.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Information You Provide
- Progress Data: Your coloring progress, completed artworks, and statistics are stored locally on your device and, for signed-in users, synced to our server via Google Play Games.
- Settings: App preferences (language, color schemes, trail effects) are stored locally on your device.
- Saved Artworks: Completed pixel art images you choose to save to your device gallery.
1.2 Automatically Collected Information

- Screen views and navigation patterns
- Feature usage (categories selected, images started/completed)
- App performance metrics

- Advertising identifier (Android Advertising ID / IDFA on iOS)
- Device information (model, OS version, screen resolution)

- Ad interaction data
- App and session data for ad personalization
1.3 App Permissions

We do NOT collect:
- Personal identification information (name, phone number, physical address)
- Precise location data
- Contact lists or address books
- Photos or files from your gallery (we only write completed artworks — we never read your gallery)
- Camera or microphone data
2. Google AdMob, Consent Management, and TCF v2.2
Pixelka uses Google AdMob to display ads and fund the free app experience. For users in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, and Switzerland, we use the Google User Messaging Platform (UMP SDK) — Google's official consent management solution — to collect and manage user consent in compliance with the GDPR and the IAB Transparency & Consent Framework v2.2 (TCF v2.2).
On first launch, users in the EEA/UK/Switzerland will see a consent form listing the purposes of data processing and the ad technology partners involved. You may:
- Consent to personalized advertising;
- Choose non-personalized advertising only;
- Withdraw or update your consent at any time via the app's privacy settings.
If consent is not granted, AdMob will serve only non-personalized ads. Consent signals collected under TCF v2.2 are stored locally per the IAB specification and used solely for consent management purposes.
